Encrypted before upload
Every value entered during signing is encrypted on the participant's device before it reaches Inklok.
Inklok is an e-signature platform built to keep your agreements private. Zero-knowledge by design, with client-side encryption.
No credit card required. Signers do not need an account.
Why this is different
Social Security numbers. Bank account details. Home addresses. Salary information. Health information about you or your children.
You mean to share that information with the people involved in the agreement. You probably do not mean to share it with the company running the signing platform.
With conventional e-signature software, the provider may control the keys needed to decrypt what you enter.
Inklok does not.
Every value entered during signing is encrypted on the participant's device before it reaches Inklok.
The people involved in the agreement who are authorized to see a value receive the access needed to read it.
We do not hold an independent private key that lets us decrypt what participants entered during signing.
The agreement workflow
Send agreements, collect signatures, reuse templates, work with your team, keep an audit history, or build through the API. Zero-knowledge encryption is built into the signing workflow.
Send an agreement to one person or many. External signers can complete it without creating an Inklok account.
Save agreements you use repeatedly, including fields, participants, signing order, and workflow settings.
Give the right people access to prepare, send, review, and manage agreements.
See agreement activity from creation through completion, including signing and workflow events.
Keep agreements you have participated in tied to your account instead of buried in old email threads.
Create and manage agreement workflows from your own application.
Built for every agreement
NDAs, offer letters, sales contracts, vendor agreements, statements of work, approvals, or something completely ordinary.
Inklok wasn't built just for documents with obviously sensitive information. It was built for people who believe an agreement should stay between the people involved.
Use it for the agreements you send every day. The privacy comes with them.
Zero-knowledge by default
Inklok can see the original agreement PDF and workflow. Values entered during signing are encrypted before they are sent to us.
Every value participants enter during signing is encrypted in the browser before it is sent to Inklok.
We store those completed values in encrypted form and do not hold the private key needed to independently decrypt them.
If someone gains access to the application database, completed signing values remain encrypted. Reading them also requires the cryptographic identity of an authorized participant.
Agreement Vault
Agreements you participate in through Inklok stay connected to your account, so you can find them without digging through old inboxes, attachments, and signing links.
Included on every plan.
For developers
Every account includes a sandbox for creating test agreements.
Walk through signing and inspect simulated notifications without contacting real recipients.
Test as much as you need without using production agreement limits.
Simulated agreement emails stay inside the sandbox instead of reaching real recipients.
You do not need an enterprise contract just to start building.

No. Inklok can access the original agreement PDF, templates, workflow configuration, participant information, signing order, status, permissions, and audit events so we can run the service. The values entered during signing are handled separately and encrypted in the browser before transmission.
No. Inklok was built for everyday agreements too. You should not have to decide that a document is sensitive enough to deserve better privacy. Use Inklok for the agreements you would send through any other e-signature platform. Zero-knowledge protection is part of the product, not a special workflow.
Just sign in. You can access your agreements from your other devices without changing how you use Inklok. We recommend keeping your Recovery Key somewhere safe. You may need it to restore encryption access during certain account recovery flows, such as if you forget your password.
No. Someone can receive and sign an Inklok agreement without creating an account.
